Board of Trustees

Community School is an association of members made up of Annual Members and Life Members. The Annual Members consist of persons who are parents or legal guardians of a child currently enrolled in the School and the Life Members are persons who, having manifested a special and long-term interest in the welfare of the Association, are voting members for life.

The management of the Community School Association and the control of its property is vested in the Board of Trustees of the Association. It is the Board's responsibility to ensure that the mission is appropriate, relevant, and vital to the community it serves. The Board, made up of 18 members, elected for two three-year terms, monitors the success of the School in fulfilling its mission. The majority of the persons serving on the Board are current parents who were nominated by the Committee on Trustees, friends, or self-nominated.
